Ian Duncan, No 1 Candidate on the Scottish Conservative and Unionist list for the European Election on 22nd May had a busy time in North Ayrshire yesterday. First he met reporters in the new offices of Ayrshire Weekly Press in Ardrossan and visited the newsroom as the week's papers were being prepared. Later, he travelled to Largs and took part in a street stall to promote the Conservative's European campaign. On a windy day, he and Annabel Goldie MSP joined local Conservative members and supporters and chatted to members of the public and passers by.
Ian said that he was very pleased with his reception in Largs and met not only local people but being a Bank holiday Monday he met visitors from Renfrewshire, Glasgow and Lanarkshire.
Ayrshire man, Struan Stevenson, the current Conservative MEP is standing down from the European Parliament after serving the people of Scotland for 15 years. Ian Duncan is campaigning to be elected one of the next group of 6 MEPS representing Scotland.
