Jackson Carlaw, West of Scotland MSP, and a group of supporters including Colin Siddle, Arran Conservative Chairman and Richard Wilkinson, Chairman of North Ayrshire and Arran Conservatives, campaigned for a NO vote in the Scottish Referendum .
They took their campaign on to the streets of Brodick, Blackwaterfoot and Lamlash, ending up with a mini rally in Bilslands attended by supporters from all over the island. During the meeting, many questions were asked on the currency, Europe, security and defence as well as jobs for young people. Jackson ended with the message that Scotland and the rest of the UK would always be Better Together.
Jackson said " We had a great day and found a strong support for NO. We were also able to talk to visitors on holiday which was a bonus".
